Mrs. Frances Cole Ragsdale of South Boston, VA died on Friday, September 29th at the age of 77.

Mrs. Ragsdale was born July 4, 1946 in Halifax County, VA to Rosa White Cole and the late George Cole and was married to Alfred Ragsdale. She was a member of Berry Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ragsdale is survived by her husband: Alfred Ragsdale of the home; (1) brother: John Cole of South Boston, VA; (3) sisters: Mary Sims and Wilma Edmondson (James) of South Boston, VA and Rosa Jefferson of Raleigh, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by (1) sister: Yvonne Wood.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Cole Ragsdale will be Tuesday, October 3rd at 11 a.m. at Berry Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Miller, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

​

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.
