MRS. CAROLYN CARDEN

 

Mrs. Carolyn Yvette White Carden of Scottsburg, VA died on August 15th at the age of 68.

 

Mrs. Carden was born in Halifax County, VA on September 19, 1954 to the late James White and Lydia Bailey White and was married to Clyde Carden, Sr. She was a member of Banister Hill Baptist Church and was employed by Walmart.

 

Mrs. Carden is survived by her husband: Clyde Carden, Sr.; (1) son: Clyde Carden, Jr.; (1) stepson: Tony Carden; (4) grandchildren; (1) sister: Sharon Harvey; (2) sister-in-law; (1) brother-in-law; (3) aunts; (4) nephews; (2) nieces, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including Mary Edmunds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (3) brothers: James, Stewart, and Carlton; and (2) sisters: Lydia White and Hattie Sims.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Yvette White Carden will be Monday, August 21st at 1 p.m. at Banister Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. William Carr, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
