Mr. Herman Lee Reed died on Thursday, October 5th at the age of 65.

 

Mr. Reed was born in Halifax County, VA on December 19, 1957 to the late Johnnie Reed, Sr. and Mary Belle Jordan Reed. He was formerly employed by Collins & Aikman and North America.

 

Mr. Reed is survived by (1) brother: Thomas Reed of Roxboro, NC; (5) sisters: Jean R. Sanford (George) of New City, NY, Estelle R. Smith, Joan D. Reed, Gladys R. Carrington and Patricia R. Jones (Vince), all of Roxboro, NC; half-brother: Archie Reed of Danville, VA; (1) uncle; (3) aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) sister: Ann M. Thompson and (3) brothers: John M. Reed, Jr., Sanford L. Reed and Ellis J. Reed.

 

Memorial services for Mr. Herman Lee Reed will be Friday, October 13th at 2 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel.
