Mrs. Sylvia Arleen Royal Palmer of Clover, VA died on Sunday, December 10th   at the age of 63.

 

Mrs. Palmer was born April 13, 1960 in Halifax County, VA to the late Jake Royal and Pearl Edmondson Royal. She was married to Wendell Palmer and was a member of Bethel Grove Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Palmer is survived by her husband, Wendell Palmer; (3) children: Myra Palmer (Ari), Wendell Watson and Yashika Palmer; (3) grandchildren: Aniya, Autumn and Arianna; (2) sisters: Glenda Barksdale of Gladys, VA and Wanda Royal of Halifax, VA; (3) brothers-in-law; (3) sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (3) sisters: Pearl D. Royal, Sallie Kirby and Carol Royal; and (3) brothers: Harvey Royal, Jake Royal and Carl Edmondson.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia Arleen Royal Palmer will be Saturday, December 16th at 2:00 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel with Rev. Marvin Bowman, eulogist. Burial will follow in Bethel Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at The Crawford House.
