MR. SAMUEL LEE TUCKER, SR.

 

Mr. Samuel Lee “Huff” Tucker, Sr. died on Sunday, August 26th at the age of 77.

 

Mr. Tucker was born in Halifax County, VA on July 4, 1946 to the late Alex Tucker and Mary Carrington Tucker Buster and was married to Frozetta Faulkner Tucker. He was a supervisor at Wabash and O’Sullivan Industries and was a member of Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church.

 

Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife: Frozetta Tucker of the home; (3) daughters: Lanay Faulkner (Charles), Ursula Faulkner Stanley, and Danielle Tucker-Barrow, all of Waldorf, MD,; (1) son: (David Samuel L. Tucker, Jr. of Renton, Washington; (5) grandchildren; (1) brother: Alex Tucker, Sr. (Barbara); (4) sisters: Christine Claiborne, Nancy Walker, Frances Vass and Lucille Tuck and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) brother: David Tucker; and (2) sisters: Gracie Roberts and Mary Tuck.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Lee “Huff” Tucker, Sr. will be Sunday, September 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church with Elder Calvin Green, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
