Mrs. Lottie Mae Dogan Boulden of Hampton, VA and formerly of South Boston, VA died Sunday, February 4th at the age of 81.

 

Mrs. Boulden was born in Halifax County, VA on September 15, 1942 to the late Isaiah Dogan and Mattie Harris Dogan. She was married to the late Willie “Bill” Boulden, Jr and was a member of First Baptist Church, South Boston, VA.

 

Mrs. Boulden is survived by (3) children: Leonardo Boulden (Kim) of Chester, VA, Wanda Boulden White (Tyboice) of Hampton, VA and Michele Boulden of Virginia Beach, VA; (7) grandchildren; (4) great grandchildren; (1) sister: Edna L. Griggs; (1) brother-in-law; (2) god-children; and a host of other relatives and friends, including Denise Ross and Toni Ross.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (1) son, Rawn Boulden.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Mae Dogan Boulden will be Saturday, February 10th at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church on Ferry Street with Rev. Dr. Allan Smith, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
