Mrs. Gracie Brown of South Boston, VA died Sunday, February 4th at the age of 87.

Mrs. Brown was born in Halifax County, VA on July 12, 1936 to the late William Hill and Verlie Easley Hill. She was married to the late Jesse Brown and was a member of Millstone Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brown is survived by (3) sons: Robert Brown of Cary, NC, Tracy Brown of Halifax, VA, and Victor Brown (Sylvia) of Warrenton, VA; (6) grandchildren; (4) great-grandchildren; (1) sister-in-law: Veola Hill of Baltimore, MD; (1) devoted niece: Arron Lassiter (Michael) of Alton, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by (1) daughter: Angela Brown; (2) sons: Larry Hill and Vincent Brown; (4) brothers: Robert Hill, Murray Hill, Sr., Wade Hill, and Frank Hill; (5) sisters: Alice Bouldin, Vernell Terry, Geneva Coleman, Janet Edmondson, and Vernice King.
