Ms. Jeanine Marie Dunn of South Boston, VA died Tuesday, June 11th at the age of 64.

Ms. Dunn was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 2, 1959 to the late Henrietta Dunn Webb and Ronald Leon Slater. She was a member of Dan River Bethel Baptist Church and retired from The United Federation of Teachers.

Ms. Dunn is survived by (1) sister, Catherine Marable of the home; (3) nieces: Hydreka Walker of the home, Chantel Reid of South Boston, VA and TuMia Marable of Jacksonville, NC; (5) great nephews: Lucas Medley, Isaiah and Gabriel Faulkner, all the home, Noah and Elijah Burr of Jacksonville, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Ms. Jeanine Marie Dunn will be Saturday, June 29th at 11 a.m. at Dan River Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Wilkerson, eulogist. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

​

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
