Mr. Edward Junior Palmer of South Boston, VA died on Friday June 21, 2024, at the age of 79.

Mr. Palmer was born March 4,1945 in South Boston, VA to the late Buck Palmer and Mary Ellen Barksdale.

​

Mr. Palmer is survived by (2) sisters: Mary Jean Palmer and Nancy Lee Palmer, both of South Boston, VA; (2) uncles: George Palmer of New York and Clarence Palmer (Audrey) of Raleigh, NC; (1) niece, Bonnie Henry (Larry) of Ringgold, VA; (1) great nephew; (1) great niece; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Junior Palmer will be Saturday, June 29th at 1:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Smith, eulogist. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
