Mr. Carlton Leviticus Chalmers of South Boston, VA died on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the age of 62.

 

Mr. Chalmers was born May 15, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Elder Standfield Chalmers, Sr. and Willie Mae Pickney Chalmers.  He was formerly employed with Bojangles.

 

Mr. Chalmers is survived by (4) brothers: Stanfield Chalmers, Jr. (Toni), Bishop David Chalmers, Sr. (Nadine) and Jackey Chalmers (Darlene), all of Halifax, VA, Elder Lorenzo Chalmers, Sr. (Tamara) of Philadelphia, PA and Jessie Chalmers, Sr, of South Boston, VA; (3) bonus children: Marylyn Jackson, Zander Jackson, and the late Tanya Jackson; (2) aunts: Maudene Gamble and Ann Cummings; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, Carlton was preceded in death by (1) sister, Nieoker Chalmers; and (1) brother, Emell Chalmers.

 

Memorial services for Mr. Carlton Leviticus Chalmers will be Saturday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Rock of Salvation Apostolic Church, Nathalie, VA with Dr. James Chalmers, eulogist.
