Mr. Billy Joe Ballou of Halifax, VA died on Friday, July 12th at the age of 59.

Mr. Ballou was born in Halifax County, VA on August 22, 1964 to the late Clarence Melvin Ballou and Lillian Clark Ballou. He was a United State Army Veteran.

Mr. Ballou is survived by (1) daughter: Paris Ballou of Nathalie, VA; (1) grandchild, Andrew Steven Nicholas, III; (5) siblings: Lillian Newman and Charlie Ballou of Burlington, NC, Cecelia Johnson of Graham, NC, Carolyn Hamlett of Alexandria, VA and Edward Ballou of Halifax, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) brother, Clarence Melvin Clark.

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Joe Ballou will be Sunday, July 21st at 1 p.m. at Deliverance Tabernacle Apostolic Church with Apostle Carl D. Lykes, Sr, eulogist. Military rites will follow by United State Army Honor Guard and American Legion Post 99.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
