Mrs. Ellen Odell Crews Easley of Scottsburg, VA died on Monday, May 20th at the age of 87.

Mrs. Easley was born June 2,1936 in Halifax County, VA to the late Nathaniel Joseph Crews and Odell Oliver Crews. She was married to the late James Easley and was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Easley is survived by (2) daughters: Elaine A. Sawyer (Vernon) of New York and Cheryl Lynn Snow of North Carolina; (4) grandchildren; (6) great grandchildren; (1) brother, Joseph Lewis Crews (Lourdes); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Odell Crews will be Saturday, June 8th at 11 a.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Louis S. Leigh, eulogist.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
