Ms. Dorothy Mae Stovall of Halifax, VA died on Thursday, August 22nd at the age of 70.

 

Ms. Stovall was born in Halifax County, VA on March 28, 1954 to the late Nathaniel Overby and Eltea Stovall Overby. She was a member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church.

 

Ms. Stovall is survived by (1) sister, Annie Overbey of Halifax, VA; (1) brother, Tony Overby of Halifax, VA; (1) niece, Tori Bryant of Richmond, VA; (2) aunts: Irene Edmonds and Hallie Stovall, both of South Boston, VA; and a host of cousins, including a devoted cousin, Mattie Edmonds, other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services for Ms. Dorothy Mae Stovall will be held Wednesday, August 28th at 1:00 p.m. with services at St. Paul C.M.E. Church with Rev. Anthony Miller, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

 Public viewing for family and friends will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon until 6:00 p.m.
