Mrs. Odell Rogers Thompson of South Boston, VA died Saturday, June 1st at the age of 99.

Mrs. Thompson was born July 4, 1924 in Halifax County, VA to the late Grant Rogers and Virginia Haythe Rogers and was married to the late John Thompson. She retired from NYC Department of Social Service in 1994 and was a member of Ebenezer CME Church.

 

Mrs. Thompson is survived by (2) sons: John Michael Thompson (Shirley) and Jeryl Grant Thompson; (1) daughter, Mary Belinda Felder; (13) grandchildren; (23) great grandchildren; (2) great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Odell Rogers Thompson will be Saturday, June 8th at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer CME Church with Rev. Blanche Stewart, eulogist. Burial will follow in Rose Garden Cemetery.
