Mr. Lawrence Lee Harris, Sr. of Roxboro, NC died on Monday, September 2nd   at the age of 73.

 

Mr. Harris was born October 7, 1950 in Halifax County, VA to the late Judy H. Warren and Zanteash Brandon and was married to Jacqueline Pender Harris. 

 

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Harris of Roxboro, NC; (1) daughter, Lynette V. Harris-Elmore (Irvin) of Texas; (2) sons: Lawrence L. Harris II, of Durham, NC and Bennie Harris, Sr. of Roxboro, NC; (14) grandchildren; (3) great grandchildren; (2) sisters: Denise Arrington and Donna Arrington; and a host nieces, including the devoted Carlene Rogers; nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) son, Darnell L. Harris; (1) sister, Ruby H. Rogers; and (1) brother, Cecil Harris.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Lee Harris Sr. will be Friday, September 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston, VA with Deaconess Ma’Shonda Powell, eulogist.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
