On September 5, 2024, heaven opened its doors to welcome Gladys Tucker Bouldin home to eternal life. She passed peacefully at the age of 80.

 

Gladys was born and raised in Halifax, VA, as the youngest of fourteen children to Issac Tucker and Maggie Holt Tucker. She enjoyed a long career at Tultex Industries before retiring.  She lived a quiet life and enjoyed the simple things such as listening to the radio and trying recipes in her cookbook collection.

 

Gladys is survived by her two children: Joan Lane (Bouldin) and Hope Bouldin; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

 

Homegoing service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Halifax, VA. Cards and flowers can be sent to Jeffress Funeral Home.
