Mrs. Olivia King Duncan of South Boston, VA died Tuesday, September 24th at the age of 91.

 

Mrs. Duncan was born in Halifax County, VA on August 26, 1933 to the late Mack Royster and Mary Brooks Royster and was married to Clarence Duncan. She was a member of New Mount Olive Apostolic Church.

 

Mrs. Duncan is survived by her husband, Clarence Duncan of the home; (2) daughters: Ann Wilkerson and Linda Barksdale (Earl), all of South Boston, VA; (2) sons: James King (Alice) of South Boston, VA and Lee King of Washington, DC; (13) grandchildren; (26) great grandchildren; (29) great great grandchildren; and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (3) sons: Frank, Mack and Professor; (1) grandson, Lee Jr.; (1) a great grandson, Jonathan; and (2) sons-in-law: Russell and Ralph.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Olivia Duncan will be held Monday September 30th at noon with services at New Mount Olive Apostolic Church with District Elder William Terry, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
