Mr. James Timothy Morton of Scottsburg, VA died on Wednesday, October 17th, at the age of 66.

 

Mr. Morton was born July 23, 1958 in Yonkers, New York to Ella Morton and the late Bennie Coleman. He was married to Rosa Morton.   

 

Mr. Morton is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee Morton of Scottsburg, VA; his children: Timeka Morton of Halifax, VA, Tyron West of South Boston, VA, Harold Bowman of Scottsburg, VA and Tyrell Hamilton of New York; his mother, Ella Green Morton of New York; brothers: Thomas Green (Barbara) and David Green; sister, Renee Coleman (William) and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Thomas Green and sister, Karen Green.

 

Memorial services for Mr. James Timothy Morton will be Friday, October 25th at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Clover, VA with Rev. Quincy Mitchell, eulogist.
