Ms. Sarah Louise Delaware Greene of South Boston, VA died Tuesday, November 5th at the age of 60.

 

Ms. Greene was born in Halifax County, VA on May 30, 1964 to the late, Clyde Delaware and Lillian Hunt Delaware. She was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church.

 

Ms.  Greene is survived by her significant other: Dwayne Womack of the home;  (2) daughters:  Destiney Greene of South Boston, VA and Deshay Greene of Norfolk, VA; (2) sons: David Greene of South Boston, VA and Davon Greene of Norfolk, VA; (1) grandchild, JaKayla Chambers; (2) sisters: Angelica Delaware of Clover, VA, and Cynthia Delaware-Petty of Fredericksburg, VA; (2) brothers: Cornelious Delaware of Clover, VA and Keith Delaware of Farmville VA; (1) sister-in-law, Sandra Delaware; (3) devoted friends; Kentra Chatten, Darlene Downey and Denise Delaware; a special cousin, Sylvia Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) brother, Clyde E. Delaware.

 

Funeral services for Ms. Sarah Greene will be Thursday, November 14th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Alfred Chandler, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be at Wednesday, November 13th from noon until 6:00 p.m.  at Jeffress Funeral Home.
