Ms. Audrey Priscilla Jones of Vernon Hill, VA died March 31st at the age of 59.

 

Ms. Jones was born November 27,1964 in Halifax County, VA to the late Jacqueline Jones and was a member of Berry Hill Baptist Church.

 

Ms. Jones is survived by (4) children: April Jones and  Carlisa Jones,  both of South Boston, VA; Erica Jones of Vernon Hill, VA and Jerome Jones of Maryland; (10) grandchildren; (3) sisters: Cynthia Jones of South Boston, VA, Bessie Meadows (Curtis) of Bridgeport, CT, and Lauretta Jennings (Gary) of Vernon Hill, VA; (1) goddaughter: (2) aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother: Ida Jones; (1) aunt: Laura Guthrie; (1) great aunt: Vanessa Terry and (2) uncles: Thomas Jones and Az Jones.

 

Funeral services for Ms. Audrey Priscilla Jones will be held Tuesday, April 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Berry Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Haynes eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Monday from noon until 6:00 p.m.
