Mr. Jame Thomas Hill of South Boston, VA died on Friday, April 5th at the age of 67.

 

Mr. Hill was born on June 20, 1956 in Halifax County, VA to the late Charlie Lacy Hill and Blanche Traynham Hill and was formerly married to Margaret Hill. He was a member of Sunflower Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Burlington Industry, Halifax Regional Hospital and Halifax County Public School System.

 

Mr. Hill is survived by (1) son, James Travis Hill of Halifax, VA; (1) daughter, Jennifer Michelle Hill of the home; (1) grandson, Jy’Ron Barley of the home; (1) sister, Alice Mabins; (1) brother, Roy Hill; (1) sister-in-law; (1) god-daughter, Dejah Britton; (6) nieces; (8) nephews and a host of other nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) grandson, J’marion Barley; (1) sister, Pauline Davis; and (1) brother, William Hill.

 

Memorial services for Mr. James Thomas Hill will be Saturday, April 13th   at 11:00 a.m. at Sunflower Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert M. Tucker, eulogist.
