Mr. Wayne Preston Coles died on Sunday, January 21st at the age of 54.

 

Mr. Coles was born July 20, 1969 to the late Lessie McCraw Coles and Clarence Coles. He was married to Saundra Jackson Coles and was employed with Kejah Enterprises, LLC and H & M Logging Company. Wayne was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

 

 Mr. Coles is survived by his wife, Saundra Jackson Coles of the home; (4) sons: Rodney Jordan and Deandre Hamlett, both of Danville, VA  Isaiah Webb of Charlotte Court House, VA and Keivon Webb of the home; (1) step daughter, Octavia Dunkley of South Boston, VA; (9) grandchildren; (5) sisters: Carolyn Jackson (Sam) of Clover, VA, Margaret Hicks (Willie) and Clarice Buster, all of Scottsburg, VA, Dorothy MCcargo and Yvonne Dixon, both of South Boston, VA; (1) brother: Christopher L. Coles (Kim) of Virgilina, VA; (1) honorary brother: Christopher Hunt of South Boston, VA; mother-in-law: Millie Jackson and devoted father-in-law: William Jackson, both of Halifax, VA; (1) aunt, Fannie Lee Jones of Nathalie, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) brother, Clarence Howard Coles and paternal grandmother, Pattie M. McCraw.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Preston Coles will be Saturday, January 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. K. Anthony Jones, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to service on Saturday.
