Mrs. Bessie Victoria Logan Clark of Landover, MD, died Wednesday, May 22nd at the age of 88.

 

Mrs. Clark was born in Halifax County, VA on May 4, 1936, to the late Haze Logan and Irene Penick Logan.  She was married to the late Van William Clark and was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church, Washington, DC and DuPonte Park Seventh Day Adventist Church in Washington, D.C.

 

Mrs. Clark is survived by her devoted children: (1) daughter, Victoria "Vicky" Clark (Eddie) of Albany, NY; (4) sons: Kenneth Clark of Ashboro, NC, William Haley of Crystal Hill, VA, Alexander Haley of Upper Marlboro, MD and Lawrence "Larry" Haley (Diana) of Wyckoff, NJ; (8) grandchildren; (11) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (1) son, Robert Clark; (3) sisters: Leola Blair, Nancy L. Logan, Alice E. Mosby and (1) brother, James L. Logan.
