Mr. Michael Alexander Penick, Sr, of Halifax, VA died on Monday, February 3rd at the age of 67.

 

Mr. Penick was born on November 2, 1957 in Halifax County, VA to Wynonie Whitlock Penick and the late Robert Penick.

 

Mr. Penick is survived by his mother, Wynonie Penick of South Boston, VA;  wife, Cherie Penick, sons: Michael Penick, Jr. of Danville, VA, Jeremy Edmonds (Shanice) of Chester, VA, Marquist Edmonds of LaPlata, MD, D’ Ron Penick and D’Quan Penick, both of South Boston, VA; bonus children: Jillian Stone (Talieson),  Nomonic Coleman, and Dominic Coleman, all of Danville, VA; (4) siblings: Thomas Penick (Joyce) of Danville, VA, Karen Johnson, Carolyn Penick and Christopher Penick (Cynthia), all of South Boston, VA; (1) sister-in-law, Benda Williamson (Malachi; (4) aunts; (2) uncles; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by (1) sister, Janice Penick Dixon.

 

A memorial service for Mr. Michael Alexander Penick, Sr. will be Saturday, February 8th at 2 p.m. at New Arbor Baptist Church.
