Mr. Charles Vandore Barksdale of South Boston, VA died on February 1st at the age of 67.

 

Mr. Barksdale was born May 22, 1957 in Halifax County, VA to Lizzie Goode Barksdale and the late Charlie W. Barksdale.  

 

Mr. Barksdale is survived by his mother, Lizzie Barksdale of the home; (1) uncle, Larry Goode of Alexandria, VA; (3) aunts: Nancy Arnold and Evelyn Ferrell(Clarence) both of Alton, VA; and Jean Tucker of South Boston, VA; and a host of cousins, including the devoted Kion Tucker, other relatives, and friends.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Vandore Barksdale will be Saturday, February 8th at 11:00 a.m. at New Vernon Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery,

 

Public viewing for family and friends will be on Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
