Mr. Otis Lee “Junnie” Ferrell, Jr. of Clover, VA died on Sunday, July 25th at the age of 54.

Mr. Ferrell was born in Halifax County, VA  on August 5, 1966  to Otis Ferrell, Sr. and the late Marion Coleman Ferrell. At an early age he joined St Matthew Baptist Church.

Mr. Ferrell is survived by  (4) children: Ashley Williams (Tyree) of Clover, VA, Patrick Prophet of Richmond, VA, Trequan Curtis Ferrell of Clover, VA, and Kilmonie Brown of Petersburg, VA; (2) grandchildren: Laila and LaKai Williams; his father: Otis Ferrell, Sr. of Clover, VA; (2) siblings: Marcia Williams (Robert) and Craig Ferrell, all of Clover, VA; (1) niece: Chere Williams; his longtime girlfriend: Brenda Venable; (4) special cousins; (4) aunts: an (1) uncle; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents: Betty Grinan, Matthew Coleman, Lucille Ferrell and Clifton Garrett.

Funeral services for Otis Lee Ferrell, Jr. will be Saturday, July 31st at 2:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home with Rev. Dr, Alfred Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Lackstown Family Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.
