Deacon Peter Eugene Fallen, Jr. of South Boston died Monday, January 16th at the age of 73.

Deacon Fallen was born in Halifax County, VA on June 25, 1949 to the late Peter Fallen, Sr. and Myrtle Ferrell Fallen and was married to the late Denise Hill Fallen. He was a member of New Arbor Baptist Church.

Deacon Fallen is survived by (1) son: Thomas Fallen of Hurbert, NC; (2) daughters: Stephanie Fallen of South Boston, VA and Wendy Fallen of Durham, NC; (7) grandchildren; (2) extended daughters: Tamika Fallen and Kara Moorefield; (4) sisters: Mary White of Halifax, VA, Virginia Fallen and Queen Fallen, both of South Boston, VA and Linda Adams (Albert) of Washington, DC; (3) brothers: Arthur Lee Fallen (Freddie) and Jessie Fallen (Diane), all of South Boston, VA and Marvin Fallen (Annette) of Richmond, VA; (1) aunt: Bessie Edmonds; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Deacon Peter Eugene Fallen, Jr. will be Saturday, January 21st at 2:30 p.m. at New Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. Nelson Stamps, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be on Friday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston, VA.
