Mrs. Revern Carden Moss died on Wednesday, October 27th at the age of 69.

Mrs. Moss was born in Halifax County, VA on September 17, 1952 to the late Joshua Carden, Jr. and Peggy Mosley Carden. She was married to the late James “Rock” Moss. Revern was a member of Spanish Grove Baptist Church and was employed with Presto for many years.

Mrs. Moss is survived by (3) children: William, Anthony (Yeimy), and Angela; (13) grandchildren; (2) brothers: Pete Carden (Karen) and Wayne Carden; (3) sisters: Scherlie Buster, Evelyn Easley (Leon) and JoAnn Coleman (Michael); and a host of great grandchildren, niece, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and friends including, Mrs. Ruth Daley and Mrs. Barbara Coleman Brown and her caregivers. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by (1) son: Tony Pleasant; and (1) brother: Richard “Skinny” Carden.

A memorial service for Mrs. Revern Carden Moss will be Saturday, November 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Spanish Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Womack, eulogist.
