Mr. Robert William Coleman “Bill” of Yonkers, NY died Monday, September 5th at the age of 79.

Mr. Coleman was born October 5, 1942 in Halifax County, VA to the late Mannie Louise Allen Coleman and Algie Coleman and at an early age joined St. James Baptist Church in Scottsburg, VA. He retired from PF Laboratories after 48 years of service.

Mr. Coleman is survived by (3) sisters: Marion Coleman of Yonkers, NY, Minnie Foy of Tuckahoe, NY, Nannie Coleman of South Boston, VA; (1) brother: Stephen Coleman of Yonkers, NY; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by (2) brothers: Charles Coleman and Clinton Coleman; and (1) sister: Thelma Coleman-Crawley.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert William Coleman will be Friday, September 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Jeffress, eulogist. Burial will follow at St James Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday one hour prior to the service at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel.
