Obituary

Ms. Rontina Lanee Coleman died Friday, September 10th at the age of 47.


Ms. Coleman was born in Danville. VA on October 29, 1973 to Lillie Marie Martin Hamlett and the late Granville Davis and was a member of El-Bethel Cathedral Church.


Ms. Coleman is survived by (3) children: Darrell Davis, Anissia Coleman and Tyquan Palmer; her mother and stepfather: Lillie and Ray Hamlett; (1) sister: Wanda Dunkley (Frank); (3) brothers: Gregory Hamlett, Jarrell Hamlett and Cleavon Davis; (6) aunts; (3) uncles; (1) grandson: D.J. and a host of other relatives and friends including Monte Martin.


Funeral services for Ms. Rontina Lanee Coleman will be Friday, September 17th at noon at Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church with Bishop John Williams, eulogist. Burial will follow in El-Bethel Cathedral Church Cemetery.


Following Covid-19 guidelines, a face mask and social distancing will be required and seating is limited to 50 people at the service.


Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
