Mrs. Rosa Marable Sims of Wildflower Drive, South Boston, VA died on Thursday, December 16th at the age of 69.

Mrs. Sims was born October 19, 1952 in Halifax County, VA to Cora Lee Edmunds Marable and the late James Marable, Sr. She was married to Raymond Sims and was a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Sims is survived by her husband: Raymond Sims of the home; (2) sons: Jason Sims and Justin Sims, both of South Boston, VA; (1) grandson: Ja’on; her mother: Cora Lee Marable; (1) sister: Doris Logan (William) of South Boston, VA; (2) brothers: James Marable, Jr. (Dorothy) of South Boston, VA and Thomas Allen Marable of Danville, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside service for Mrs. Rosa Marable Sims will be held on Wednesday, December 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Christian Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery with Rev. Evon Bush, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing will be required.
