Mrs. Rosalyn Dorinda Currie died on Saturday, April 29th at the age of 56.

Mrs. Currie was born in Halifax County, VA on July 7, 1966 to the late John Albert Hodge and Ethel Mae Hodge and was married to Anthony “Tony” Currie, Sr.

Mrs. Currie is survived by her husband Anthony Currie, Sr; (3) sons: Ricardo Hodge-Moreno (Da’Quantria), Aaron Hodge (Alexa Kanefsky) and Anthony Currie, Jr; (2) daughters: Ashley Hodge (Jordan Lambert) and Jasmine Fountain (Brandon); (2) sisters: Connie Dent and Carletta Womack; (1) brother: Rodney Hendricks; (8) grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) sister: Lucy Ann Majors and (1) brother: Charles Hendricks.

Funeral service for Mrs. Rosalyn Dorinda Currie will be held Friday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Lawrence Burrell, Sr, eulogist.

Public viewing for family and friends will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
