Mrs. Sandra Ann Morse Underdue of Elizabeth City, NC and formerly of New Jersey died on June 4th at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center in NC at the age of 82.

Mrs. Underdue was born in East Orange, New Jersey on July 03, 1939 to the late Mr. Daniel R. Morse, Sr. and Mrs. Doris West Morse. She was married to the late Mr. Herbert H. Underdue and was a member of Love of Jesus Church in East Orange, NJ. Mrs. Underdue was a former employee of Hoffman-La Roche Pharmaceutical Company and the Newark School System.

Mrs. Underdue is survived by (1) daughter: Ms. Lucinda Underdue; (2) sisters: Mrs. Doris “Toddy” Wilson (Maurice) and Mrs. Susan Malone (Frank); (2) brothers: Mr. Daniel R. Morse, Jr. (Carol) and Mr. James “Chip” Morse (Joanne); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Sandra was preceded in death by one sister, Ms. Lana E. Morse.

Graveside services for Mrs. Sandra Ann Morse Underdue will be held Wednesday, June 9th at 1:00 p.m. with services at Banister Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Due to the families wishes, there will be no public viewing.
