Ms. Shirley Ann Barbour of Halifax, VA died Thursday, December 1st at the age of 81.

Ms. Barbour was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 6, 1941 to the late Sherley Hiram Barbour and Lorene Stovall Barbour and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Ms. Barbour is survived by (1) sister: Elizabeth B. Garner (James) of Halifax, VA; (1) brother: Herman Barbour of Halifax, VA; (1) nephew: Melvin Barbour (Donna) of Halifax, VA and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service for Ms. Shirley Ann Barbour will be Wednesday, December 7th at 2 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Willie N. Yancey, eulogist. Burial will follow at the Barbour Family Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to service.
