Mrs. Shirley R. Southerland Jennings of Nathalie, VA died on Monday, June 28th at the age of 77.

Mrs. Jennings was born in Weirton, WV on March 8, 1944 to the late Thomas Southerland and Lucia Weaver Southerland. She was married to Patrick Jennings and was a member of Centerville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jennings is survived by her husband: Patrick Jennings of the home; (2) sisters: Marva Gregory (Frank) of Weirton, WV and Jo Anne Ledford (Richard) of Roswell, GA; (1) brother: William Southerland (Rebecca) of Gilbert, AZ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by (1) brother: Tom Southerland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley R. Southerland Jennings will be Thursday, July 1st at noon at Centerville Baptist Church, South Boston, VA with Pastor Todd McClure, eulogist.  Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Meadville, VA.

Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.
