Mr. Steven Jerome Ferrell of South Boston, VA died on Saturday, September 17th at his residence at the age of 51.

Mr. Ferrell was born April 27, 1971 in Halifax County, VA to the late Robert Lee Ferrell and Theresa Ann Coleman Ferrell. He was married to Elizabeth Crews Ferrell and was employed with Huber Engineered Woods in Crystal Hill, VA.

Mr. Ferrell is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Crews Ferrell of the home; (1) son: Diondre A. Coleman who passed on 9/21/22; (1) daughter: Mkayla A. Ferrell of Radford, VA; a bonus son: Jonathan Boyd of Nathalie, VA; (1) sister: Sally Ferrell of Jonesboro, GA; (3) brothers: Robert Ferrell, Jr. (Cynthia) and Joseph Ferrell (Felicia), all of Greensboro, NC and, Phillip Ferrell (Janet) of South Boston, VA; (3) brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) brother: Edward C. Ferrell; and (2) sisters: Celie Roberts and Georgia Bailey.

Funeral services for Mr. Steven Jerome Ferrell will be Saturday, September 24th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Ferrell, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
