Ms. Tonisha E’shay Anderson died Friday, July 16th at the age of 25.

Ms. Anderson was born in Halifax County, VA on July 11, 1996. She was the daughter of Princess Anderson, Chandra Moore and the late Tony Anderson. She was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church.

Ms. Anderson is survived by her mothers: Princess Anderson of the home and Chandra Moore of South Boston, VA; (3) brothers: Antonio Anderson (Tiffany) of Halifax, VA, Shawn Anderson (Jasmine) of Charlotte, NC and Antonio Moore, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; her grandmothers: Dorothy Brigham of South Boston, VA and Lucy Hughes of Halifax, VA; (7) aunts: Diane Glass (Charlie), Sharon Owen (Howard), Deborah Crawley, Genora Garland (Samuel), Janice Traynham, Johniqua Brigham and Kyra Brigham; (5) uncles: Stanley Anderson, Ricky Anderson, Larry Anderson (Linda), Darius Anderson and Carroll Anderson (Gwen); (2) nephews: Jaylen and Izay; and a host of other relatives and friends, including Pricilla Jackson, Delores Penick and Wanda Hankins who cared deeply for her. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Linwood Anderson and one aunt, Kimberly Owen.

Funeral service for Ms. Tonisha E’Shay Anderson will be on Thursday, July 22nd at 2 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax with Rev. Thomas Divens, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel.
