Mr. Tony Edward Anderson of Halifax, VA died on Monday, February 22nd at the age of 61.

Mr. Anderson was born in Halifax County, VA on April 24, 1959 to the late Linwood Anderson and Elsie Lee Ferrell Anderson and was married to Princess Miller Anderson. He joined Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was employed by Halifax Regional Hospital over 22 years.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife: Princess Miller Anderson of the home; (2) sons: Antonio (Tiffany) of Halifax, VA and Shawn (Jasmin) of Belmont, NC; (1) daughter: Tonisha “Shay” of the home; (3) grandchildren; (5) sisters: Diane Glass (Charlie), Sharon Owens (Howard), Deborah Crawley, Genora Garland (Samuel) and Janice Traynham; (5) brothers: Stanley, Larry (Linda), Carroll, Darius and Ricky Anderson; mother-in-law: Lucy Hughes; (3) brothers-in-law; (2) sisters-in-law; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including Gary Terry and Jerry Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) sister: Kimberly Owens.

Funeral services for Mr. Tony Edward Anderson will be held Tuesday, March 2nd at noon at The Crawford House Chapel, 721 North Main Street, Halifax, VA with Elder William Howerton eulogist. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Monday, March 1st from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston, VA. Following COVID-19 guidelines a face mask and social distancing will be required.
