Mrs. Virginia Richardson Carr died on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the age of 81.

Mrs. Carr was born in Halifax County, VA on August 5, 1940 to the late James Richardson and Mary Chandler Richardson and was married to John Wayne Carr.

Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband: John Wayne Carr of the home; (3) children: Marion Pierce (Willie) of Raleigh., NC; Robert Burton (Linda) of Walkertown, NC; and Rhonda Wilkes (Quinton) of Maryland; (3) grandchildren; (5) great grandchildren; (1) brother: James “Cut” Richardson of South Boston, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
