Mrs. Vivian Hamilton Clark of South Boston, VA died on Monday, May 15th at the age of 90.

Mrs. Clark was born in Halifax County, VA on October 2, 1932 to the late William Carr Hamilton and Mary Susie Pounds Hamilton. She was married to the late James Clark, Sr. and was a member of Ebenezer Christian Methodist Church.

Mrs. Clark is survived by (2) sons: Walter Clark and James Clark, Jr., both of South Boston, VA; (2) daughters: Brenda C. Richardson (Andrew) of South Boston, VA, and Deborah C. Powell (Lorne J.) of Virginia Beach, VA; (5) grandchildren; (4) great grandchildren; (1) sister: Anne Nelson of Memphis, TN; (2) special daughters: Willie Dean Woody and Thelma Crews; and a host, of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by (7) brothers: William, Moses, Robert, George, Henry, Riley and Levi, Sr. Hamilton; and (2) sisters: Geneva Coles and Emily Driggins.

Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Hamilton Clark will be Friday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer C.M.E. Church with Rev. Blanch Stewart, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Pounds Family Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
