Mr. William Edward Buster, Sr. of South Boston, VA died on Tuesday, November 22nd at the age of 88.

Mr. Buster was born February 9, 1934 in Halifax County, VA to the late Alfred Clem Buster and Rosa Lee Williamson Buster. He was married to the late Jannie Bowman Buster and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Mr. Buster is survived by (1) son Alfreddie Buster (Frances) of Henrico, VA, and Janice Buster of Clover, VA; (1) foster son: Elliott Bowers of South Boston, VA; (4) grandchildren: Shawn Buster, Roderick Windsor, Serita Windsor, and Kerri Johnson; (15) great grandchildren; (4) great great-grandchildren; a devoted great grandson and caretaker: Jesquan Buster; (1) sister: Lucille Tuck of Virgilina, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded by (1) son: William “Pig” Buster, Jr; (1) sister: Clara Buster and (1) brother: Alfred Morris Buster.

Funeral Services for Mr. William Edward Buster, Sr. will be held Tuesday, November 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Smith, eulogist. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
