Mr. Willie Davis Meadows of South Boston, VA died Tuesday, July 5th at the age of 68.

Mr. Meadows was born in Halifax County, VA on December 2, 1953 to the late Walter Hubert Meadows and Celia Louise Lee Meadows. He joined Owens Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

Mr. Meadows is survived by (1) son: Shawn Meadows (Shimeka) of Maryland; (1) sister: Annie Meadows Hamlett of South Boston, VA; (8) grandchildren; stepmother: Hallie Meadows; (6) stepchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including the devoted James Owens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) brother: Walter Meadows and (2) sisters: Mable Meadows and Tony Meadows.

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Meadows will be Saturday, July 9th at 3 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Michael Byrd, eulogist. Burial will follow at Owens Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from noon to 6 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.

A face mask and social distancing is required.
