Mr. Willie Junior Sydnor of Nathalie, VA died on Saturday, March 5th at the age of 71.

Mr. Sydnor was born November 5, 1950 in Halifax County, VA to. John Quarles, Sr. and Sally Bet Sydnor Coleman and was married to Betty Jean Carrington Sydnor. Mr. Sydnor was a member of Ellis Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Sydnor is survived by his wife: Betty Jean Carrington Sydnor; (4) daughters: Veronica Sydnor, Kim Coles (Chris), Diana Sydnor (Torrance) and Connie Sydnor; (12) grandchildren including the devoted DeAndre Andrews, Sr.; (5) great grandchildren;(2) brothers: Glen Clements and Kelly Clements (Eva); (4) sisters: Connie Granger, Helen “Lorene” Sydnor, Octavia Torres, and Mereal Hughes; stepmother: Annie Quarles; (2) brothers-in-law; (1) sister-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by (1) grandson: Christian “Dubie” Coles.

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Junior Sydnor will be Friday, March 11th at noon at Jeffress Funeral Home with Rev. James Jones, eulogist. Burial will follow in Ellis Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask is required at the service.
