Mrs. Yvonne Betts Coleman of South Boston, VA died on Monday, February 20th at the age of 83.

Mrs. Coleman was born in Halifax County, VA on June 9, 1939 to the late Mr. Leon Willis Betts and Mrs. Janie Richardson Betts. She was married to the late Mr. Alfrederick Coleman, Sr. and was a member of Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by (1) son: Alfrederick Coleman, Jr. (Alberta) of South Boston, VA; (2) grandchildren: Derrick Coleman of South Boston, VA and Alfrederick Coleman III of Hillsbourgh, NC; (2) brothers in-law: Leon Coleman, Sr. (Sam) of Norfolk, VA and Cetrel Coleman (Patricia) of Manassas, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, including the devoted Dr. Leon Coleman, Jr., other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Betts Coleman will be Saturday, February 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church with Suffragan Bishop Bernard Wilkins, eulogist. Burial will follow in Rose Garden Cemetery.

At the request of the family there will be no public viewing.
